This silver shell necklace has been handmade using silver clay moulded into a shell shape. Choose between a darker option, treated with a patina solution to darken the silver, or a shiny silver option. It is made from 100% recycled fine silver, and the impression is totally unique.

The necklace is presented on an 18 inch sterling silver chain in a recycled gift box.

Silver clay is made up of tiny recycled silver particles, such as silver powder collected from a workbench. It is combined with a non-toxic organic binder to make a malleable clay that can be molded like any other clay. The binder burns away during the firing process, leaving a solid fine silver piece - magic!
